ProfessionalVMware.com #BrownBag Sessions

If you haven’t been tuning into the ProfessionalVMware.com Technical Brownbags then it’s time you get started.  These live podcasts, hosted by Cody Bunch and occasionally Damian Karlson, have become a key part of my week.  Guests on the Technical Brownbag present and discuss on a variety of topics which primarily focused on certification preparations.  Looking through the archive you will find resources for each VMware certification available including VCDX.  Recently guests have included notables Wade Holmes discussing the vCloud Architecture Toolkit and Jason Boche discussing objectives on VCAP-DCD.  I won’t make an attempt to list everyone since the guests have all been fantastic and extremely knowledgeable.  You can see the full archive on the Brownbags page listed below.

I have personally found a great deal of value in the content.  Recently I found myself soaring through a chapter on design during some VCAP-DCD studying that was covered in full discussion by Jason Boche.  My plan is to keep an eye on the topics and make sure I study up on the material prior to the session.  Why you ask? The podcast is live and there are multiple times to ask questions wither through the chat or voice if you have a mic.  Now I simply wish I had more time to listen to ALL of them.  I will get there before too long though for sure.

The Technical Brownbags broadcast live every Wednesday although it appears the time has shifted somewhat.  The site lists 8:00pm CDT while recent registration states 7:30pm CDT.  I suggest you get registered that way you always know for sure.  Keep in mind that these guys do this in their spare time so make sure not to give them any grief for time changes!  Time not work for your schedule?  No worries, these guys do pretty quick turnaround on the sessions.

Huge thanks to Cody [@cody_bunch] and Damian [@sixfootdad] for the excellent work they are doing!
