My name is Josh Atwell and I've been working in the IT industry exclusively since 2004. I've received my VCAP-DCD, VCAP-DCA, VCP3,4 certifications. I am currently working as a vArchitect for VCE where I am helping customers with many things that start with 'V'.

vTesseract is my personal presence for my thoughts, musings, and technical write-ups involving PowerShell, datacenter virtualization and other technologies I come across daily. Cisco Live! #CLUS

Wanted to give everyone a heads up. Saturday AM I’ll be flying out to San Diego for Cisco Live 2012. I’ll consider this to be an awesome opportunity for me to reach out to some new folks and learn quite a bit.

What will I be doing there you ask?

Great Question!

Amy Lewis posted a notice on the Cisco DC and Cloud blog which has me featured as a very busy man. I’ll be working the floor as a roving reporter. Live tweeting some keynotes and sessions, interviewing tons of people, speaking on Social Media and UCS user groups, eating bacon, and talking cloud and datacenter virtualization! W00T! Or as my partner in crime this year, Fred Nix (@nixfred) of EMC #CloudFreaky fame states it GIDDYUP!

You had better believe I’m expecting this to be a great event which I hope I’m able to share with you through the blog, twitter, and my YouTube channel.

Here’s a little insider secret so let’s keep it between us…I’m going to be hunting down the folks that really drive the cloud with automation! Why? It’s my bag and if you’re one of my readers you know this…man! I hear there’s going to be an entire cloud pavilion dedicated to all kinds of things cloud. I’m going to be buzzing through there like Stark flying in the Mark VII armor. I also plan to have some special interviews that are VERY #PowerCLI/#PowerShell/#UCSPowerTool related.

Bittersweet

I’m so excited as you can probably tell. It will be slightly bittersweet however because I’ll have to leave my new son Zachary for the week. At 2 weeks old he is absolutely amazing. Going to have to save some juice on the iPhone for some FaceTime chats with the family!
