VMworld Barcelona Here I Come!

Today I received the last piece of the puzzle required for my venture to VMworld Barcelona, my passport!  That in pocket it, seems worthwhile to mention the purpose of my first inter-continental adventure.  I’ll be heading to Barcelona to work with a few of the #vBrownBag crew to run TechTalks in the VMware Community Lounge (Hang Space) as well as Cisco Roving Reporter duties.  I’m really excited to be working with these guys again and glad to see people quick to want to share their knowledge!

 Our Sponsors

The #vBrownBag crew is fortunate to have excellent sponsors for this trip to help get Alastair and Damian in for the show.

Most importantly is a huge thanks to John Troyer and VMware for once again giving us an opportunity to bring the community together and share.  We’ll be using the same setup as VMworld US so you’ll be able to catch the live stream although you may have to get up a bit early for some of the sessions. :)

Barcelona Rock Star

Alastaire Cook (@demitasseNZ) has been a busy guy in preparation for the show and just like Nick Marshal was the rock star for VMworld US, I’m betting that Barcelona will be successful primarily because of his hard work.  Make sure you stop by and thank him!

The Schedule
There’s a great lineup of guests on the schedule (http://www.vmworld.com/docs/DOC-6542) and I’m really excited about the content.  We have some excellent sessions discussing certifications, the return of #notsupported, automation, VDI, and more.   There is a ton of community knowledge coming to Barcelona!

My Role(s)
My role at the show will involve a great deal of time working the TechTalks as well as doing lots of interviews for Cisco DC as Roving Reporter once again.  I also have some interviews lined up for the #vBrownBag audience.  If you have someone you’d like to hear from or a topic that is important to you then please let me know and I’ll do my best!

Follow Along
Be sure to follow along on Twitter as I’ll likely be sharing as much as possible during the week!  If you’re in town for the show make sure to stop by and say hello to the #vBrownBag crew, John Troyer, and our presenters.

You can follow the live stream at http://www.livestream.com/vmwarecommunitytv
